1. In a food processor, add the cashews and water. Pulse until it creates a smooth texture.
2. Add the remaining cashew lime sauce ingredients. The macro information is based on 1 Tbsp of maple syrup.
3. Coat the salmon or trout in the cashew lime sauce. Save the rest to spread over your dish. This sauce/dressing would go very good in a power bowl or salad as well.
4. Optionally add another sprinkle of red chilies to your fish. Air fry the salmon or trout fillets until they reach an internal temp of 145 degrees F, around 12-15 minutes.
