97th Street’s Best Turkey Burger

Ingredients

  • 1 lbs extra lean ground turkey breast
  • 3 Tbsp panko bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp yellow onion, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 whole egg, lightly whisked
  • Fresh dill
  • 2-3 Tbsp BBQ sauce of choice
  • Salt & pepper

Other burger ingredients

  • 4 regular or brioche buns
  • 1 granny smith apple, sliced thin
  • 4 Thin slices of creamy Havarti
  • 4 Tbsp BBQ sauce of choice

Directions

1. Heat BBQ to 400-450 degrees F.
2. Add in all burger patty ingredients to a large mixing bowl.
3. Form into 4-6 equal sized patties.
4. Turkey burgers tend to be very sticky, so make sure when you put them on the bbq that you don’t squish them in between the grill grates and only flip them when they are about 50% cooked through, as they tend to stick together better!
5. Cook until internal temp reads at 165 degrees F.
6. Assemble the best turkey burger 97th street has to offer! Great to pair with a side salad or munching veggies.
